History of Our Club
Since the Fall of 2004 Mrs. Lines took over the responsibilties of the Environmental Club until the Spring of 2007. Since
then, she has left the halls of Kickapoo to go and teach in Costa Rica.
In 2007-08, Mr. Matt Gower and Dr. Jim Crooke took over the responsibilities of the KHS Environmental Club and did an
outstanding job of continuing the recycling program.
Since the fall of this year (08), Mr. Snyder has taken over the helm of the Environmental Club and plans on continuing
the recycling program but also looks to improve it and take it a step farther. For the first time in years, KHS will begin
anew with the Plastic recycling as well as printer and cell phone recyling programs. The club will also be looking at taking
weekend hikes/camping trips as well as a big spring weekend camping trip to see and experience the great outdoors that the
state of Missouri has to offer.
